Official Foreword

A warm and inspiring message from YB Dato Sri Tiong King Sing, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, welcoming global participants to WITEX 2025 and WCAF 2025.

Welcome to Malaysia.Welcome to WITEX 2025 and WCAF 2025

It is with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to all distinguished exhibitors, trade buyers, and visitors from Malaysia and across the globe to the World Islamic Tourism & Trade Expo (WITEX 2025) and the World Cultural & Arts Festival (WCAF 2025). These prestigious events mark another significant milestone in Malaysia’s commitment to fostering Islamic tourism, global trade, and cultural exchange.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Malaysia Tourism Agency Association (MATA) for its unwavering dedication in organizing this third edition of the event. The transition from Asia Islamic Tourism & Trade Expo (AITEX) to WITEX reflects the growing global influence of this platform, providing a more expansive and inclusive avenue for international collaboration in the Islamic tourism and trade industries.

WITEX 2025 and WCAF 2025 will serve as dynamic platforms for industry leaders, government agencies, entrepreneurs, and cultural practitioners to engage in meaningful discussions, forge new partnerships, and explore business opportunities. With exhibitors and trade buyers from diverse backgrounds, these events will undoubtedly contribute to Malaysia’s position as a leading hub for Islamic tourism and cultural diplomacy.

I invite all participants to fully immerse themselves in this remarkable gathering, exchange ideas, and experience the richness of Malaysia’s tourism, trade, and cultural offerings. May WITEX 2025 and WCAF 2025 be a resounding success in advancing the global Islamic tourism industry and strengthening international ties.
